MEDIA ALERT: KINGSGROVE COMMUNITY MEETING

A COMMUNITY Meeting will be held at Kingsgrove Parish Hall tonight to discuss the impact of WestCONnex on our local area.

Concerned residents and school communities from the South West will hear from state MPs and transport experts about how this $15 billion toll road will affect their quality of life.

The unfiltered WestCONnex poison stack proposed for Kingsgrove or Bexley North, destruction of green spaces and the proximity of the expanded M5 to people’s homes are likely to be key points of discussion.

Residents will vote on several resolutions during the meeting, including calling for a halt on the project until a parliamentary inquiry is held and the full business case is released for public scrutiny.
