THE COALITION Against WestCONnex (CAW), a network of community groups opposed to WestConnex, will today, 16 October 2017, submit more than 10,000 objections against the WestConnex Stage 3 Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). 

On 6 May 2016, Greens MP for Newtown Jenny Leong hosted a People's WestCONnex Inquiry at Parliament of NSW. Several WestCONnex Action Group members spoke at the inquiry on various topics. RESIDENTS are now occupying the NSW Department of Planning and Environment offices at 23-33 Bridge St Sydney in protest at the corruption of the planning processes surrounding the $16.8 billion WestCONnex toll road, and to call for a public inquiry into the project.
