RESIDENTS will be holding a protest at Sydney Park at the corner Campbell Rd and Euston Rd from 7am on Saturday, when WestCONnex contractors plan to destroy more trees for the St Peters Interchange.

WESTCONNEX contractors were forced to abandon construction works in Sydney Park twice this morning after failing to produce any authorisation for the work when asked by residents.

DRILLING works for the WestCONnex New M5 toll road were stopped yesterday after residents occupied the planned construction site in Terry Street Tempe.
