WESTCONNEX Action Group (WAG) welcomed Shadow Infrastructure Minister Anthony Albanese’s call for a Federal audit into WestCONnex today, but said this needed to be matched by a commitment to halt Federal funding of the $16.8 billion toll road to stop taxpayer dollars being wasted.

ALMOST 900 submissions to stop WestCONnex destroying endangered species such as the Green and Golden Bell Frog were sent to federal Environment Minister Greg Hunt in 48 hours after WestCONnex Action Group (WAG) launched an online campaign last week.
