HUNDREDS of residents attended a snap rally in Alexandria on Saturday to call on Premier Gladys Berejiklian to halt plans to turn Euston Rd into a seven-lane highway as part of work for the WestCONnex St Peters Interchange.

On Thursday 1 December, Premier Mike Baird finally met with members of community groups campaigning against the WestCONnex tollway, along with Greens MPs Jenny Leong (Newtown) and Jamie Parker (Balmain).

We’ve had many shocked and distressed people approach us for information after learning that their homes or businesses are to be acquired for WestCONnex. While we can’t offer legal advice on this, we can offer some information that may help based on what other residents have experienced.

Around 500 people attended the Stop WestCONnex Community Rally in Rozelle on Sunday afternoon to call for a halt to the project and its Federal funding.
