Around 500 people attended the Stop WestCONnex Community Rally in Rozelle on Sunday afternoon to call for a halt to the project and its Federal funding.

RESIDENTS protesting the first meeting of the amalgamated Inner West Council in Petersham tonight forced the meeting to close before it began after refusing to let the unelected Administrator speak.

TWO residents who occupied an apartment in a forcibly acquired block in Haberfield to protest its destruction for WestCONnex were arrested yesterday and charged with trespass.

RESIDENTS are now occupying a flat in a forcibly acquired apartment block at 27 Wattle St Haberfield that is due to be demolished for the $16.8 billion WestCONnex tollway project.

In April 2016, WestCONnex Action Group joined forces with Victoria's Yarra Campaign for Action on Transport and WA's Rethink the Link to make a submission to the Senate Committee on the establishment of a National Integrity Commission.
