TWO residents who occupied the roof of a forcibly acquired home in Haberfield to protect it from WestCONnex destruction this morning have been arrested and charged with trespass.

RESIDENTS are now occupying the roof of a forcibly acquired home at 1 Wolseley St Haberfield after it was fenced off by WestCONnex contractors in preparation for demolition.

Local residents were insulted that he’d come to their community to eat cake as he was preparing to send in the bulldozers to destroy it, so they decided to make their feelings known.
