Local resident opposition to Westconnex has intensified with a public protest in St Peters today, and more than 2000 people expected to converge on Simpson Park in Campbell St.

Local politicians and councillors are expected to attend tomorrow’s peaceful protest, which will block off Campbell St between Unwins Bridge Road and the Princes Hwy St Peters from 1pm. 

A family friendly event with face painting and kids activities is planned, as well as 40 local DJs headlined by ARIA award winner Paul Mac.
