Come and join us at the official launch event for Save Sydney Park: Adopt a Tree and send a message to Mike Baird and WestCONnex: We love Sydney Park and its trees, and we'll fight to protect them!
There'll be so much to enjoy, including:
- Free music from acts such as Inês, Betsy McCabe, Ecopella and more
- A photographic exhibition by the award-winning Lorrie Graham
- Sausage sizzle, cake stall and more (you can BYO picnic too)
- Speeches by Newtown MP Jenny Leong, City of Sydney councillors Jess Miller and Linda Scott, Wendy Bacon and WestCONnex Action Group's Pauline Lockie
- Your chance to Adopt a Tree to help #SaveSydneyPark
By coming along, you'll help raise awareness about Premier Mike Baird's plan to destroy hundreds of trees and take 14,000m2 of Sydney Park for WestCONnex, dump over 60,000 extra cars on the surrounding streets - and slug families in western Sydney with tolls of up to $25 a day to drive into inner-city traffic jams.
Join us any time between 12 noon and 4 pm. Bring family and friends to the Sydney Park Camp, corner of Euston Rd and Campbell Rd, St Peters. RSVP below.
