Free multi-stage music festival to protest the destruction of our beautiful park and support the blockade against WestCONnex.

The Baird government is planning to destroy hundreds of trees and take 14,000 square metres of Sydney Park to build their dirty toll road. So once again, we've teamed up with our friends at Reclaim the Streets to host a protest festival (protestival!) to reject this senseless destruction.

Multiple stages will feature local acts playing everything from Chicago house to UK garage, hip hop, jungle, and drum and bass. Confirmed acts so far include Asylum Speaker (jungle / drum n bass), Finespun (garage, house / techno), Rivet (dubstep / grime / bass tunes), Bike Rave (random sweet stuff) and Sydney Def Jam (hip hop).

This family friendly festival meets 1pm Saturday 1 October between Euston Rd and Alan Davidson Oval.
